Invention Development
After
you bring us, at Adesigner.com, your idea for a great invention and we
agree that your invention is feasible, there are certain steps that we
will take for invention development. You have already come up with the
basic idea for a product you hope will find a receptive market.
Adesigner.com will then send you a confidentiality statement, which
will state that the information passed between us regarding your
invention will be protected. (So you don't have to worry about anyone
finding out about your great idea before you are able to realize its
potential.) We will then work on what your hopes are for your
invention. We will make a list of what you want to accomplish, who you
want to target as an audience, and every detail you feel is important
in the design and distribution of your invention. You can then decide
if you want to license your idea. Licensing allows a particular company
to use your invention exclusively, for a term, or as one of many. This
will also be the time for you to file for a patent, which is what you
would be licensing. Adesigner.com will then design and make a
prototype of your invention. This will take your idea from paper to
three dimensions. This is perhaps the most exciting time for an
inventor. Your idea is finally real. The next step is to send the
prototype to manufacturing companies for quotes. Many companies will
require a 3-D CAD (computer aided design) as well. Once the
prototype has been sent to the manufacturers, you will be put in direct
contact with them and the final decisions on how to proceed will be up
to you. After that time, Adesigner.com will be available for consulting
if you need a liaison between yourself and manufacturers or help with
marketing your invention. If you'd like to discuss your thoughts about
invention development, feel free to contact us by filling out an information request form
or email info@adesigner.com with your full name, address, phone number,
and what help you are looking for. We will send you our confidentiality
agreement for your protection.
