Patent Assistance
The
collective consciousness has plagued writers and inventors for
centuries. A one-of-a-kind idea for a story comes along, and all of a
sudden someone else has that same one-of-a-kind idea. An invention that
is so wonderful it will change the history of the world comes along,
but someone else gets it produced and marketed first. You may
wonder how it can possibly be that someone steals your idea. But the
fact is, great minds do think alike. The subject of patenting may be
controversial, however, many believe that in order to protect your idea
and your invention, patenting is necessary. Adesigner.com offers patent
assistance as one aspect of our invention design services. Obtaining
a patent generally takes around two years. During this time, your
invention will have patent pending status. You can obtain a provisional
patent for a lesser fee, but you will need to file a full patent
application within a certain period of time. Until the patent is fully
executed, though, you cannot be sure the patent office will issue you a
patent or that another inventor hasn't filed for a patent on the same
exact idea before you, which will mean his will be patented first. Even
after undergoing the time consuming procedure of requesting a patent,
your invention is not 100 percent protected against infringement.
Patents give you some rights and something to go to court with, but
they don't actually "protect" your invention. Whenever a
substantial change is made to the original design, no matter how small
it might seem, a new patent may be necessary. Your idea can be improved
upon by someone else or changed in some way, and they will be allowed
to file for a patent on the "new" invention. Adesigner.com has the
experience and know-how to help you "cover all your bases" and get the
most out of your patent. Just as we are in the "design" business,
attorneys are in the "legal" business. We are not attorneys, but will
work with any patent attorney you might choose. Anyone who thinks an
attorney can design and engineer your product properly, is most likely
making a big mistake. Get your engineering done before you patent, or
you may be wasting a great deal of money. If you'd like more
information about how to obtain patent assistance, please fill out the information request form
or email info@adesigner.com with your full name, address, phone and
what help you are looking for. We will send you our confidentiality
agreement for your protection.
